Evercore Diversity Events
How many students are usually selected to participate in Evercore's Investment Banking Night events? I only saw about 20 people when I went. I was not sure how selective this event was, so I did not post it on my LinkedIn. I am now being flown out to NY for Evercore's TURM Leadership Summit which is also an invite-only event. Considering my hotel and flight costs are being covered, I would say this is a pretty important event. How many students are usually invited to this event, and is it something worth mentioning on LinkedIn?
How did you get invited to TURM? Did not see an application for it.

I never saw it and I check their website pretty frequently. Did you do their diversity seminar?
Applications were not publicly posted this year. You had to either be accepted to one of the previous events or have been referred.
Yeah pretty sure you had to do the sophomore diversity seminar in order to be invited.
The in-person diversity events are highly selective and tend to be a pipeline for first round interviews in March.
There's no application for it -- top candidates who have been in touch with the firm through other avenues (diversity coffee chats, open houses, IB simulation, etc.) are invited.
This applies to the direct hire groups as well (Chicago, Houston, Menlo HC and Tech, Toronto)
Why no super day
You have to pass your first round and any subsequent rounds to reach the superday. I wouldn't go in expecting to automatically get a superday, although some places do "guarantee" it.
Does every person who did the IB simulation gets invited? Are there any people who got invited but didn’t do the IB simulation?

Not involved with recruiting but they will sometimes superday the top turm candidates right after the event.

Do you mean actually conduct the superday within less than 48hrs right after the event or just schedule a superday for a later date (with the top candidates)
Immediately after the event while those kids were still in the office.
I also got invited and will be attending. I’m assuming they will put us through a technical test at some point during the event? How else would they choose who to give a superday? I have no idea what to expect tbh
That’s what I’m thinking as well. Not sure how much preparation should go into technicals ahead of this event

look at this guy attending introductory events. you should definitely let everybody know that you were invited. I recommend you stream it on Twitch and then upload a video on LinkedIn.
