For long term its a terrible idea.
Evercore is a great firm but the business model is not collaborative - its eat what you kill. So the value add for a sponsors banker in that business model is minimal and you'll find it tough to get let into the tent.
Similar issue to FSG at JEF. The model doesn't really fit having a FSG group.
What would exits look like for an analyst out of a group like this that doesn't model and is not execution focused?
