Evercore Generalist NYC - Lateral Q&A

Hello,

Could we please share how the analyst is staffed in this group? Can one express their interest in a specific group during the interview process?

Do you like the culture in this group?

If you have gone through the process, could you please share how you prepared for the interview?

Thank you!

Hey Analyst 1 in IB-M&A, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:

More suggestions...

If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...

I'm an AI bot trained on the most helpful WSO content across 17+ years.

For lateral if its still the same you apply specifically to an industry group

Evercore M&A specific coverage group

i) 1st round phone screen - VP/director behavioral (why EVR, why leave, why xyz group)

ii) 2nd round - 45 min case study, two on one interview of technical questions

iii) 3rd round interviews - Two 30-min phone calls talking primarily on deals

iv) Final round - 2-3 hour modeling test followed up with 30-45 min debrief session followed up with offer within 3 days
