Evercore Hours/WLB

I know historically EVR has been known for great culture and generally solid WLB. How has this changed since the pandemic? I’ve been hearing some are getting worked. Which groups have best/worst hours? I’m an incoming SA 2023 and don’t know anyone well enough to ask.

Can comment on Menlo Park team: the hours have been really rough for analysts/associates for last two years. There has been some turnover at the top - and lots of people leaving to join other shops/exit the industry at assoc/VP level. Don't think there is much work life balance at the moment there, but things might have slowed down due to the prevailing market conditions.

MP office was known to have better culture, but due to turnovers/volume of work - that has changed significantly over the last 2 years. Personally know someone who quit a year into assoc. level because of the unrelenting hours.

Roommate was A2A in the NY office. Much much much worse since the pandemic. All the people driving the good culture are now gone and it has become sweaty as hell across the board.
