Evercore MP or JP Morgan SF
Have offers for both, trying to decide which better positions me for recruiting (PE or otherwise), and where I can have the better experience. Any insight would be appreciated!

Career Resources
Evercore MP - better deals + experience
JP Morgan SF is M&A, if that changes anything
Are you an ex-intern at JPM? Bc thought they weren't doing FT
JPM - strong deal flows & exits
Comp is going to be better at Evercore, deals probably lean evercore as well.
Lifestyle probably better in SF proper though.
JPM SF worked on twitter and VMware deals, the two biggest in tech this year
BofA also worked on those. Doesn't necessarily make it better
Take JPM if it's M&A, EVR if it's tech. PE HH drool over pure M&A groups. Plus you will hate your life if you have to life in Menlo or commute there every day as a 22 year old.
Haven't really heard what EVR Menlo exits are like, know JPM M&A consistently places to MF / top growth equity
JPM SF M&A > Evercore Menlo > JPM SF Tech
Also JPM SF M&A culture is one of the best on the street.
How are you getting offers for these? Thought FT recruiting was dead
EVR Menlo is hiring FT 2023 for both Tech and HC
