Evercore PCA Bonuses
I am planning out expenses and projected savings. I was wondering if anyone had insights into the bonus structure/ scale at Evercore for PCA. PCA is part of the investment bank, but a niche product group which sits outside of M&A. With massive deal flow group in 2021 and 2022, I am assuming it is the same as M&A but could be mistaken in this assumption.
120k base (fact)
25k signing (fact)
105-110k bonus (assumption First Year Analyst)

Don’t know how true this is but have heard the PCA bonuses are higher than M&A deal-flow given the sheer volume of deals Evercore PCA goes through.
Can confirm that this is at least true for other top PCA/Secondary groups
others like which firms ?
OP here. Evercore PCA is a beast when it comes to deal flow. Hard for me to compare to M&A, but within the secondaries space we continue to be the number one shop (with growing market share as well). So glad to be in PCA and not coverage/M&A/traditional IB.
Excited to watch the space grow over the next few years.
How do your hours compare to those in m&a?
Incoming at a PCA group for SA22
Do you guys think this amount of growth in Secondaries is sustainable? How will the impending recession impact the Secondaries market?
Distressed investors may want to liquidate their holdings in a recession, so that could boost secondaries maybe?
I'm very bullish on the future of GP-leds, with more and more funds pouring money into the industry, average transaction size and quantum will likely grow for a good while
Traditional LP-leds are a bit meh to me, not sure if one can expect any massive growth in that area tbh
While the processes aren't as interesting there will still be a ton of growth in LP-led deals. Some of the reasons you mentioned impact LPs the same way and it's increasingly becoming more accepted as a way to manage their portfolios.
What is good about working on gp leds from an advisory standpoint?
Recession could actually help GP-leds. With limited exit markets via traditional means, GPs will look to GP-leds to generate liquidity for their funds.
Any more thoughts/numbers here?
Thoughts on PCA exit ops?

What are the hours like in this group?
AN 1 in M&A at EVR. $105-110k bonus seems high considering this past year, AN 1s got ~$75-85k. Obviously hoping for the best but personally budgeting bonus at closer to $85k.
Are you PCA? When you bonuses for this year come out
Are Evercore bonuses all cash?
