Evercore Process
Hi,
Had a first round on Zoom (30 min) a couple of days back and have another Zoom (30 min) coming up.
Is it automatic for everyone who had a first Zoom to get the second Zoom?

Bump
they're both part of R1 interviews.
Yeah that’s what I heard but similar situation with OP. A lot of ppl i know haven’t heard back yet for the second Zoom (including myself). Do they ding a lot of people from the first Zoom?
Why bump someone to a 2nd 30 min zoom if you're gonna ding them already based on their poor performance on the 1st one?
Doesn't really make sense imo

I think it depends, I know people that got two zoom invites on the same day, but ig some people have one and then if they do well get the second according to your experience. Maybe stronger candidates get the auto 2, idk.
Depends on school. Some people have 2 R1s and others only have 1 R1.
This is how it worked last year
Yeah but is everyone at that school guaranteed 2 Zooms if they had the first?
