Recently got an email (sent to all diverse incoming SAs) about Evercore's partnership with TA Associates for recruiting post analyst stint. To other Evercore SAs – what do you think of it? It was a bit strange to me that Evercore would be friendly about exits for analysts.

Why do you find it strange? EVR has always been supportive of buyside exits.
oh, did not know that! thought banks universally tried to retain their analysts.... that's good to hear!
Most EBs are very supportive. I'm at an EVR/MC/PJT and we get an email when PE recruiting starts to support our analysts while they go through the process. It's not a hidden thing at all and this program makes sense to me as a way to stop PE poaching Seniors with Evercore offers (which is happening more and more).
Only Goldman, as far as I know, is super anti-PE recruiting.
