In london your looking at £90-120k, if your lucky. Most base will be £50-65k and bonus pay will be £30-50k

In USA your looking at $140-200k for analyst. Some shops in USA pay WAY above that like Ducera who pay $200k base but they are SWEATY averaging 80-95 hours as far as I hear.

Overall after taxes and what have you, you will be taking a discount in earnings of about 20-30% in london, with hours being broadly similar averaging 60-70 hours a week, with 60 being more realistic number.

 

Pretty sure it’s way more for US. Evercore 120K base and bonuses were 100-110% last year. That’s also not counting signing bonus.
