Exit opps for lesser known groups in IB

I mean the niche groups that may differ firm to firm (Shareholder Activism and Corporate Defense Practice at MS, Director Advisory Services at JPM, or ESG Client Solutions Group at Credit Suisse) these groups don’t seem to give you financial modeling experience so where could you go with them and what’re your thoughts on them as ways to break into IB?
