Exit Opps for O&G bankers?
Hi everyone,
I'm going to be an O&G analyst at a BB and wanted to know what are the PE exit opps like (particularly if I don't want to be in Houston)? Are my only exit opps in Energy PE? I also know that some PE firms have generalist roles but do those prefer certain groups like M&A and LevFin more than coverage groups?
I have also heard it's tougher to get PE jobs in NY and SF due to locational preferences esp if you're at a different regional office.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
