Experienced Hire Sponsorship

Hi guys,

My family is permanently moving from Canada to California in the next few months as my mom is an American citizen but I was born in Canada and am > 21 so I'm not sponsorable through her.

My family wants me to move to California with them, but I don't know how to go about getting a job there given my Canadian citizen status. I'm currently a corporate banking analyst with 3 years of experience in credit (2 in commercial banking though) and would like to find a gig in California for either Corporate Banking, LevFin, or pure IB. My current bank doesn't have offices on the west coast.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to go about this? Should I just stay in Canada (East Coast)?
