Extremely jealous of the working relationship between the associate and other new analyst

Another new analyst and I joined the team in January. However, starting at the beginning of this month, the associate on the team has been giving special assignments to the other new analyst in addition to being on half-hour-long meetings with him. I feel completely left out, and I feel like the other new analyst might be working on tasks that are more advanced than what I am working on. I don’t want to be left behind on the learning curve. What should I do about this?

Be secure. It’s possible they know each other or just hit it off really well. Regardless, nothing you can do. Keep your head up and work harder than him.
