Fake it til you make it" limit? Resume embellishment.

Real talk, my resume says 'Advanced Financial Modeling' and 'Completed LBO Analysis on X,' but that was basically a group project where I did the formatting.

If I get asked to open a laptop in an interview, I’m dead. What’s the fastest way to actually learn the skills I claim to have? I have about 2 weeks before superdays kick off.

Everyone exaggerates on their resume lol  but "Advanced" might be bold. You're essentially inviting them to grill you.

You just need to be competent enough not to look like a liar. Spend a weekend building a simple paper LBO, then move to Excel. Build a 3-statement model from scratch (use a blank sheet) every morning for the next 14 days. By day 10, it’ll be muscle memory.
