Feasibility of 3 bed / 1 bath apartment in NYC?

Hello. Just signed an apartment in NYC for move in next month for 3 bed / 1 bath. Was looking for 3 bed / 2 bath, however there weren't any apartments available in our budget range due to these apartments being scarce and people moving back into the city. Is 3 bed / 1 bath fine in terms of everyone being able to shower and get to work on time or is 3 bed / 2 bath a must when living with 2 other people?

Are 3 bed / 2 ba even common at all?

Was your budget around 4.5k-6k? Seems like reasonable (rooms bigger than 10x10, closets, natural light throughout, etc...) 3 bed / 2 bath is really hard to find until you reach 6k+

How has living in the apartment been so far?

How often did you find yourself trying to go to the shower or bathroom before work and someone else was in the bathroom? I don't think it'll happen that often but just curious since haven't lived in a 3bed/1bath before

I don’t think that often. I mean we were all and still are fairly good friends so we communicated well. Also there was a kitchen sink and other areas to get ready per se besides the bathroom. The only “limiting factor” was really the toilet and/or shower. I think the showering time was fine, and bathroom was manageable. I also had a nox membership at the time so on days when I went to gym before work (was like only the first month or so haha) I could shower and use bathroom there. Thankfully the whole situation worked out well

How did that work out? Did some people go to work at 7 and others at 8 or 9?
