Feel embarrassed about having a job rather than doing my own thing
Even though I am in IB, I still feel embarrassed about having a job. I think I won’t feel as embarrassed if I am self-employed. Is this a normal feeling?

Nah, same. I spend most of my living hours working for someone else. Im owned by whoever is writing my check. I worked so hard in my life just so I can work hard as a wage slave?
Embarrassment seems like a stretch. If it's that bad, just quit and do your own thing.
Or you can recognize that you're in banking for training before you move on to something better. So you can get used to suppressing your ego and embrace delayed gratification (which I suspect is what you're feeling as embarrassment), and spend that mental energy figuring out what's next.
