Fees in Pitchbook
Does your bank outline fee structure in their pitchbooks or is it only discussed verbally between MDs and then signed in the engagement letter?
Asking because I am currently interning at a boutique and our seniors spend 70% of the time discussing internally about fees and make us constantly change pages in a deck with different retainers, milestone fees and success fee charts. Is this something thats usually included in pitchbooks at larger banks?
At my bank (or at least my group) usually wasn't in the pitchbook itself, but we'd sometimes have a small fee slide or couple of slides we'd send separately. Depending on relationship sometimes just jump straight to EL negotiations and skip the slides. Was never a big lift though with actual charts or anything like that though.
Is this BB , EB or MM? thanks!
