Fifth Third is a state chartered member bank with $142MM in assets as of 9/30/18, ranking them 26th on the list of largest bank holding companies. In short, they're a regional bank that will play well in local markets and piggy back into larger deals. Depending on your location, career goals, and aptitude, they may be a good fit for you. I can't speak to the level of training you'll receive though. I imagine they outsource a lot of it to banking associations.
