Financial Advice/Money Management for soon to be 1st year Analyst
Hello everyone, I will be an analyst at a BB beginning this July in NYC and I wanted to get some quick advice on how to breakdown your analyst monthly. Quick Question: Is it better to wait until the next tax year (2012) to begin investing in my 401k or should I start as soon as I start work? Right now, I plan on just opening an Roth IRA and dumping all my savings in there until Dec 31st then start to invest in my 401k and dump my bonus in there too in addition to the company matching. Any advice? Thanks guys
PS What is the most 1st years should spend on their monthly rent? I am thinking no more than 1500 on a 70k base.
