Financial analyst to IB help

So I've been recruiting for the last 10 months for 2021 IB FT with no luck. I'm a non-target from still a decent level school (top 50) with no IB internships but a few financial analyst roles. I have had 2-3 interviews, but they didn't pan out as they took someone with more experience. Being late in the game, i'm obviously looking at other finance careers and wanted to get some input/opinions on what I should do.

I want to end up in IB no matter what. I'm just not sure how to get there and the best route starting on the outside. My current situation would be to take a financial analyst role at an F500 company full time starting this summer after graduation. Here's where I'm stuck,

After 6-18 months at my first job, what would be the best position to pursue after? Could I get into an IB analyst role, or what other roles should I look for to eventually lateral to IB?

Or am I fucked?

If so, do I try for an M7 MBA and break into IB as an associate in a few years?

Appreciate the help. Sorry for any weird spelling, I did this on my phone.
