Financial Modeling course for Freshers

I am an undergraduate preparing for CFA Level 1. I am looking for a course that can help me to build great financial modelling skills.
One of my seniors suggested me to go for BIWS Financial modelling fundamental course and after going through it, I am realising that I just get lost in it. No doubt it is very well detailed and its excel course is one of the best ways to improve excel skills, but I have no idea why I am having a problem in working with the modelling videos.
So can anyone suggest what should I do?
Should I go for other providers such as WSP, WSO or CFI?
