Financial Modeling general question
So I'm currently using the Wall Street Prep Self Study program to learn and improve my financial modeling skills. I have noticed that they use an entire worksheet to do a a 3 statement financial model with all of the supporting schedules (Working capital, Income Statement drivers, PP&A schedule, Revolver/debt schedule, depreciation schedule, stock buy back schedule) use to forecast the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow statement being included in that one work sheet. I was wondering if when it comes to building an actual model in IBD if its is more common to use a separate worksheet for this supporting schedules and then you just transfer the outputs to the actual three statement model or if the 3 statement model used in the Wall Street Prep program is appropriate for industry standards. Thanks in advance !!
