If by "smart" you mean "faggish" then yes.

Firm with smartest employees is DE Shaw or Jane Street. If you're excluding all "quant" firms (which is like asking which is the sweetest tasting candy excluding all the ones with sugar in them), then I suppose it'd be McKinsey.
