I'm soon to start in IB and was wondering what first few weeks will look like? How many weeks of training before I get started on the desk and if WFH is it likely I'll meet the team straight away or do a bit of training then hit the desk?

i started early so on my first day i was setting up it systems and whatever bank platforms and shit and i was staffed on a few deals.
joined on a monday, saw emails with me in cc going back 1-2 weeks, apparently was staffed on transactions before even officially joining lol
Does your bank not give you any information on this lol? How do you expect absolute strangers to know w/ no idea where you’re working at to know this?
I will of course receive the relevant information before I start but was just more a general question about what typically happens in first weeks and what the ratio of work:training looks like.
