First few weeks on the desk
I am going through training and feel like we’re kind of getting crammed with a fuck ton of info right now. Getting a bit anxious about starting the real work.
What do the first few weeks/month look like for analysts? Are you immediately just thrown into the fire and start pulling 2 am nights the day you hit the desk?
Yes and no. Just be ready for anything
Usually people won’t give you too complex work at first because they don’t trust you yet and will prefer senior analysts to get things done quicker. So a bit more breathing room at beginning
a lotttttt of admin work, calendar invites, reformatting ppts
