First year internship - Growth Equity or Virtual Boutique IB
First year here trying to sort out some options for summer internship. I could either work in person / hybrid for a growth equity firm on the east coast with around 300M fund size or a virtual internship for a boutique midwest IB (1 to 50 mm EBITDA client range). Will want to do IB recruiting in sophomore fall, and I’m thinking the IB internship could be more applicable. Besides these two asset management is also a possibility but it seems to me that this would be the most disconnected with IB. What do you think?
