FLDP internship —> IBD analyst full time?

Secured a finance internship that’s a pipeline into a full time FLDP program at a fortune 10 company (that’s not a bank) for next summer - how difficult would it be to go from this internship to full time banking analyst post grad assuming my resume is otherwise pretty solid and I’m at a target school? And I guess if anyone wants to weigh in on if i should consider forgoing banking at all to pursue an FLDP, that’d be great too

“Easily the most helpful mentor and favorite person I have worked with by far. Was extremely responsive in the slack messaging, working around me, asked for some of my past materials so that he could prepare beforehand, and during the call, really helped walk through everything I was struggling with. Ultimately, came out of the call significantly more prepared and confident then beforehand. “he did really good. he was very thoughtful and we worked through a question then feedback format as it was my first mock. I really enjoyed talking to him as he was very knowledgable and, as it was my first mock we sort of were understanding how it really flows. But for some topics that i struggled on, he knew how to tailor it in a way that I could understand and ultimately made me more knowledgable overall. I guess sometimes he wasn't as engaged with my answers but still took notes which was nice of him”
