You should be getting stuff like that now? Obviously, the free stuff is different because lots of activities are unavailable or closed, but I usually get an email or two a month from a data vendor looking to send me a wine box or Doordash credit if I listen to their pitch.
How do u get on their email lists LOL ..
Some analysts at my bank got a plush from data room provider.
At my bank, I've had to plan the closing dinner...so I don't think the company usually does it. I haven't received free stuff from the companies we've worked with. The deal toy, lucites/tombstones etc are really it. I don't count the dinner.
Do analysts usually come to dinners?
In my team at a BB, yes, and the analyst also had to organize the dinner.
I guess it depends, but I even know some banks/teams where interns may be invited.
