[Freshman] Is it okay to include a link to my LinkedIn as a part of my email signature?
I am a freshman at a semi-target cold emailing alumni at BB PWM firms and Boutique IBs. Is it considered acceptable to place a link to my LinkedIn account as apart of my email signature? I understand that its somewhat controversial to attach a full resume on a cold email (not that I have any actual finance experience anyway).
You probably don't need to
I would not include a link, but if your GPA is good I respond more to those that include resumes. Also, be careful with your email signature - as a college freshman if it's anything beyond Name / phone number / name of school you're doing too much.
For my signature I just put name and LinkedIn, but I'll leave the link out from now on.
