From Europe to the US - Is it possible?

I'm currently reconsidering my career and life. Will soon graduate with a MSc in Finance from a European university and want to know what are the possibilities when it comes to moving to the US / getting an offer there.

I am already ruling out NY because I don't want to work there and it's probably way out of my league given my education. But some other areas such as Miami / Salt Lake or California seems very appealing to me. What is your experience with europeans applying to US gigs? Let's say IB/AM/ER and Structuring... But honestly opened to discover anything at this point.

Also, what is the salary difference between NY and other hubs in the US?

At this point in your career and as a European student, there are no possibilities. No greencard, no US. Your only option is to get an offer in Europe and ask to move to the US office (if they have one) after 2-3 years, or pursue further education in the US (master's, MBA).
