FT networking before Summer

Is it frowned upon to start networking with people at BB/EB/MM firms before I start my SA position? My goal is to stay on top of FT recruiting. If anyone has tips or timelines for FT recruiting I would appreciate any input.

Wait until week 3ish of your internship. It's a lot better look to seem like you gave your internship a chance, even if it's a no-brainer upgrade to a larger firm

You can definitely start making email lists and such now so you can just blast them out once you start though.

Also don't send the emails on weekends - by all means tee them up and schedule them to go out Monday, but no one is getting rage deleted faster than someone emailing me about hiring on a Saturday
