FT recruiting for a different city

I'm going through my SA stint now but want to end up in a different city once I start FT. I'm 99% sure my bank wouldn't let me start anywhere but my current office assuming I get a return offer, so I'm planning on re-recruiting FT.

My problem is that a lot of people have left my current group over the past couple of years to some of the banks & offices I was planning to target, so I'm fairly confident word would spread back to my current team if I try to network during my SA stint (which would really impact a return offer). I don't have a ton of availability to sneak away/take calls and my group has a facetime culture, so I'm going to be at a disadvantage since I won't be able to network too heavily throughout the summer. Any advice on how I should navigate this situation?
