Further Qualifications
Happy holidays everyone!
I've come to a point where I feel that just being an M&A banker is not enough (I hope there are folks out there who have had the same concern). Are there any professional qualifications you are (thinking about) taking, e.g. CFA® ? I'm looking to move into PE or quant HF.

yes. I am wondering the same thing. Besides doing a great job at work, what else can one do to stand out from the many analysts that exist when applying to PE/hedge funds/business school?
I have considered a CFA but the study hours and general time commitment seem like a waste of time. If you are focused on PE then a CFA is worthless but if you intend on going into IM/HF then it may be a worthwhile endeavor. I would rather spend 400 hours (3 levels) doing something else
I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine.
In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
And you wonder why people sometimes mistake Patrick Bateman for you.
