Get ready... 2021 SA is starting soon
Credit Suisse just listed an info session in September on my university's career portal for their summer 2021 internship opportunities. Seems like banks are going to continue to push recruiting ahead.

Same. Looks like I'll be trying to secure sophomore and junior SA simultaneously. I might as well start preparing my unborn children for recruiting wtf.
Bro, better make sure that your children are born in a target hospital if you want them to secure a BB internship. Here's a reference https://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/rankings/gynecology so you can plan accordingly.
Lol. This is so retarded. I'm honestly considering rescinding my spot at the university I'm transferring into next Fall.
its disheartening for sure
Won't be long before people are choosing their careers when they're 5 years old. We'll have a world full of firemen, astronauts and princesses.
what a fucking joke
Is this the new norm for IB summer recruiting? Two years in advance seems a hell lot early!
Maybe CS is just early with its campaigning?!
The same info sessions happened in early fall last year at my school, and I attended them just to get my name out there as a freshman and try to figure out networking. Now it actually counts.
But this doesn't mean they are pushing up the schedule even more - if anything, banks are backing up. An info session doesn't mean the start of recruiting, just banks looking for applicants if it's this early in the time frame. They'll come back 2nd semester as well if not later in the fall.
Banks that haven’t started hiring yet did internships at my school last fall. They just do it to get their names out
If this 2021 SA is starting this early, might as well write up my resume while I am still in the my mother's womb and sent out the resume after they cut the umbilical cord. What's next, hiring 9th graders as analysts?
You guys are overreacting imo
Info sessions != recruiting.
Citi, Guggenheim, and CS came to my school in September 2018 for SA2020 info sessions, but didn't hold 1st rounds or superdays until Spring 2019. Seems like they're just sticking to the accelerated timeline that has become the norm over the past 1-1.5 years-- it sucks but doesn't really seem like it's been accelerated more
This. Firms held info sessions for freshmen doesn’t mean theyre “recruiting” freshman year.
Wow, I sure hope 2021 SA doesn't happen in September...
Im confused
What does SA mean? I'm seeing it everywhere :P
