Getting your foot in the door
Hey all,
If I do an internship in the back office for example in risk or operations at a top BB, would that help me in any way to get a front office internship for the following summer at a BB?

I don't think so. Being an intern in a role will not pigeon hole you
Avoid dots, but because of colour - not because of pattern. A navy tie with white polka dots, for example, looks awesome and professional.
@packmate - I disagree. Interning in 'anything else' seems to be a pet hate amongst bankers (esp associates) from my experience.
