-hours / lifestyle

-pay

-job secuirty

-learning potential / trainin

-workplace culture

Any help, even only considering minor points, would be greatly appreciated, as i cant find much info on the web, i.e no info at all from people with hands on experience there

2nd hand opinions (take with a pinch of salt)..

versus BBs

-hours / lifestyle: not 9-5 but much better..

-pay: competitive but not at the top of the range

-job secuirty: can't comment.

-learning potential / trainin: can't comment.

-workplace culture: very elitist.

-exit opps: good. very strong name/reputation.

eagle24, are you referring to its Singapore premises or overseas offices?

If you're not connected to the fascists ruling Singapore by blood or marriage (if you didn't already know, Temasek - another state investment vehicle - is helmed by the PM's wife), don't bother pursuing a career there as the glass ceiling and impediment with regards to progression is worse than what you'd customarily expect in a Japanese bank as a non-Japanese. It's an organization that essentially functions on the basis of nepotism.

If this is your first job, exit opps to top tier IB's are virtually non-existent (discounting relationship hires).

Thanks edtkh! but your comment seem to be contradictory to the above regarding the exit opps. Why is the exit opps to top tier IB almost non-existent? thanks!
