3.3 is a decent average, people on this forum tend to exaggerate. As long as it is over 3.0, you are good to go.
Don´t say this in a banking interview:
Which superhero would you be and why? I want to be like Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor - me.
Made it to multiple BB superdays from a semi-target with a 3.3, even with banks who I did absolutely no networking with. Make sure your resume conveys your experience effectively and is super well polished and you'll be fine. Also have a good explanation for your grades without over-rationalizing. Ideally you are in a hard major and/or extremely involved in ECs, but I know that isn't always the case. You'll definitely find as you progress through interviews that there are some absolute sticklers for grades and that others don't really care. You'll likely yourself interviewed by someone who graduated summa cum laude and really looks down on those with lower GPAs as lazy or intellectually inferior as a result. It's luck of the draw and there's really not much you can do to change their perception apart from nailing the technicals and being an otherwise likeable person

Know a friend that went from CS markets (sophomore) to CS IBD (junior) to GS IBD (ft) so maybe just follow that path. You'll be alright my man.
