Applied to IB classic and financing group summer london 2025, have done the hirevue.
Question, I got an email from HR which began with the following:
Per your resume, we have identified that you have past work experience with a government / regulatory entity. Prior to proceeding with your candidacy, in accordance with our policies on interviewing candidates who currently hold positions that could be perceived as raising a potential conflict of interest, we would ask that you respond to this email to: then a few questions getting me to agree to a few things and even name dropped the specific employer attributable to me.
I am assuming this is a good sign but just wondering if everybody got this or if anyone has seen this previously?? Does this mean I should get the next round (that being the ac/superday)? Weird thing was they asked for it EOD that same day and sent the email to me at like 4.30pm in the evening.
Anyone able to provide some colour on it?
Not a bad sign they're contacting you for sure, but I believe GS IBD AC for London is out from what I heard.
how many ACs do GS typically hold for IB? Because the ACs that were sent out are for this thursday only which is the first AC
I would expect a maximum of 3. It's not looking good bruv!
