how can you answer why M&A or just any product group in general? I’m stumped on this because generally I say I’ve been following a company since so long and they merged with another one etc, and that increased my interest in M&A?
You'll have to craft and answer for the bank that you are working for. A BB answer might look very different than a boutique or MM answer.
