Got interested in Rx pretty late in the game (applying for SA25) and trying to compile a list of good places to apply. I’ve tried searching and can’t find a comprehensive boutique list on here. Any insights are appreciated, thanks.

GUGG and ROTH (and possible DUC) are def a couple of tiers above the other firms in the list. Those are great options.
You can’t really be “late to the game” in Rx. Your best bet is to just continue with vanilla IB, the interviews are slot more technical in Rx.
This is maybe a dumb question but how much more technical? I understand everything in the Redbook on Rx and not rlly sure what else I should be prepping with
Moelis - distressed debt would be one source to go for. Else study recent cases and try to understand why each party acted as they did and what you’d have done
Know credit technicals + advanced IB technicals. Prepare a bankruptcy deal you can talk about in an interview in addition to a regular deal. Lmk if you want any specific advice.
The redbook is very light. For rx as a sophomore you should be able to run through a waterfall example that has a deficiency claim.
