GPA tanked second semester freshman year. Am I doomed for sophomore internships?

I'm a student at a target (Think HYP) So basically, freshman fall. I kinda struggled, but I managed to churn out a 3.7 (yes, I literally got an A minus in every single course, which makes me very salty looking back). However this semester, due to an infamous course, my schedule got f*cked up. In fact, because I was trying to save my ass and bring that course up to a B, I think I didn't do as well on my other finals my GPA will probably tank to something like a 3.5x. Is there anyway to get a sophomore banking internship at this point or will I have to grind next year to bring my GPA up?

GPA is not the most important factor. You'll be fine.

Just start reaching out to your school's alumni network and establish relationships. Learn about the field and express a meaningful interest in it. Networking > GPA (at a point).
