Graduating in December 2020 - should I start work early?
I'm slated to start at a BB in summer 2021. Since I'm graduating early, I'm not sure if I should wait until the summer to start or start sooner. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I am also a December graduate and started early-- I definitely recommend it. You will be financially ahead of your peers and you'll also get more experience. Especially with COVID wheres theres really nothing else better you can be doing
I graduated early and chose to hold off until summer start date. You only go to college once and have the rest of your life to work. Enjoy your final semester traveling on the signing bonus and spending time on campus with friends before you scatter post grad.
I'm graduating in December as well and have decided to start early at my MM. There's not much I can safely do because of COVID (vacation, etc.) and deal flow has picked up significantly, so it made sense for me to start early. Like the user above stated, it gives you a head start on your peers by allowing you to be on the desk for ~6 months before they even start orientation and make an impact on your team quick. If you feel like you're ready to start working now and won't be missing out on anything/don't need a few months off to relax, why not start early?
does your 2 year contract end earlier as well?
My banks doesn’t do 2-year contracts, so that’s not something I have to worry about. Whether I’m eligible for an associate promotion earlier than the rest of my analyst class, that’s not something I’ve asked about yet
