currently weighing different opportunities; GHL nyc vs a top MM player. Very concerned about GHL's declining quality affecting experience and exits. Really liked the guys I spoke with at the MM and the group I will be in seems amazing in terms of responsibility as a junior. Not insanely interested in PE but would like to have it as an option.

It depends on the MM. I’m in a similar boat to you, also holding an offer from Greenhill but have a few banks I’m in the process in that I’d take over GH.
Can you give an idea of what “top MM” means? Something like Gugg I would take over GH. Something like RJ I would not.
