GS Credit Risk Management and Advisory First-year analyst Salary

I am contemplating on job offers

Could someone provide insight on how much base a first-year analyst at GS Credit Risk makes? and what about bonus?

So far I have read that base is same as IBD, bonus is less (say 30% less) than IBD analyst and so are the hours.

Current market rate is $70k a year. So can I assume GS CRM will pay the same to their first-year analyst?

Second question, how is GS internal mobility? If I want to make a transition into IBD after one or two years, would I be a good fit given top-notch performance and networking. In terms of experience, GS CRM involves some financial modeling and valuation as well.

Third question, will my b-school prospect be good out GS's CRM group?

I don't work at GS but it's kinda hard to believe that their credit guys get paid in the same ballpark as IBD. At the analyst level it's probably closer than at senior levels, but come on, it's credit - and GS isn't exactly known for their strong internal credit group.

It's probably a 9-7 gig where you basically rubber stamp whatever the front office wants to do, pat yourselves on the back and go home. If a GS credit analyst gets paid a street IBD salary + 70% of a GS bonus, I wish I had that job.
