GS financing group or Barclays Classic

I received an internship offer for the financing group (lev fin, ecm, dcm) at Goldman Sachs which is under the IB umbrella and a generalist offer for Barclays. I am weighing my options and wondering which would give me the best exit opportunities. PE is an interest of mine but I am not 100% sure what I want to do after. Any insight will be well appreciated

Barclays you do not have to worry about not getting the M&A experience. If you get into a decent coverage group you will have experience doing M&A as Barclays in houses within groups and is good about letting analysts get exposure. Know some people at Barclays who get some pretty good experience as juniors in traditional coverage groups. Lev fin at GS would be good but it depends on if they outsource the M&A/LBO work. Also ECM/DCM buy side PE recruiting not that great because not very transferrable skills.
