GS IB Layoffs, Let me Help

The single manager HF I work at is hiring across multiple roles in IR, investment team, even BizDev. $1bn+ AUM. If you’re (now ex) GS, happy to chat and see what could work.

I’m not a recruiter, but hey, I’ve been there before. Wrong place, wrong time.

One, Just because someone isn't a good fit in IB doesn't mean they're not a good fit anywhere else. I know that because I had a rough time in undergrad trying to land a return offer, but am performing well at my current firm. We've even hired GS people that left their analyst program early who have given solid performance since joining.

Two, GS hasn't even had their annual performance reviews yet this year, so I doubt their assessment of who is good / who is bad is 100% accurate.

I’ve seen great people let go because they got staffed under shitty folks and on particularly crappy deals. Sometimes quality people get laid off. Thanks for doing this OP.
