GS IBD Virtual Coffee Chats
Signed up for a coffee chat and received a registration email, but was apparently not selected according to HR person over email. Better to go out and network by myself? Any insight into who is selected for this? Guessing the obvious: URM and at a target would help.
I'm a sophomore at a non-target, though in NYC. ~4.0 GPA and solid ACT (somewhere between 33-35; keeping vague for anonymity). Had an internship last summer at a PE shop with AUM between 35-50B. Not a URM. Student investment club member and several programming languages under my belt, along with a company that I founded. Any ideas to improve candidacy?
