GS Ind Update

There was a thread earlier this year but it didn't provide much aside from that, like every GS group they had strong deal flows, toxic culture, good exits, and was a sweatshop.

I just kind of wanted to cover base points and know how the group was divided location-wise and vertical-wise; and if anyone had personal anecdotes from interactions with people in the group.

I thought that GS Ind was mainly located in Chicago. As good as GS is, wouldn't that make it harder for recruiting for MF/UMM PE Funds who are largely in NYC?

Would love to hear, corrections if my info is wrong.
