GS Possibility Summit

Keeping it brief. Got into this and is said to be selective.

1) Before, this opportunity allowed fast track for sophomore and sophomore summer IB gigs. But now its only for current freshman from Jan 25 to Dec 25 (we’ll be sophomores by then).

Will this help for getting future superdays and will the sophomore summer still be a possibility?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, the Goldman Sachs Possibilities Summit is indeed a selective program and has historically been a great opportunity for networking and fast-tracking into sophomore summer IB roles. While the eligibility criteria now focus on current freshmen (Jan 25 to Dec 25), the program still holds significant value.

1) Future Superdays: Participating in this summit can definitely help you secure future Superdays. It provides direct exposure to GS professionals, networking opportunities, and a chance to demonstrate your interest and capabilities early on. Building relationships during the summit can lead to referrals or invitations for interviews.

2) Sophomore Summer Possibility: While the program's focus has shifted, it still positions you well for sophomore summer internships. The connections and insights gained can give you a competitive edge when applying for these roles. Additionally, GS often keeps track of participants in such programs, which could work in your favor during the recruitment process.

In short, leveraging this opportunity effectively can significantly boost your chances for both future Superdays and sophomore summer internships.
