Anyone that got deferred for GS Early Action not able to apply again for regulars? Not sure if i am dinged or if i could reapply with another account or if i should just sit and wait for the deferred app to get processed. Thoughts?

Happened to a friend of mine. They wrote HR and were told it's just a system issue and to create another account and reapply.
Would recommend giving HR an email w/ a heads-up about it though.
Good to know that that's an option. Have heard that at other places the creation of another account can mess with your information in the system and basically screw you over

The guy did an internship in a BO position, and the next year applied for an internship in a FO role. The system only allowed him to apply for a single internship position, hence the advice to create a new account. Def check about it with HR first tho
Is anyone having an issue where they can't even apply? I'm getting this messaged once I hit, "Apply" "We have noticed that you are trying to apply to a combination of Positions that is not valid."
Also; I accidentally hit "Apply" for the "Other Internships and Work Placement" Can't seem to find an option to exit the process.

I think I've identified a potential problem. I accidentally opened/applied for the "Other Internships and Work Placements" and I haven't figured out how to cancel it. Maybe they will only allow me to have one application in-progress at a time?
Yeah i applied last year and it was that backlog causing it for me. Made a new account hope its not an issue, if it is well no other choice really lol
My application says “on hold” rather than “deferred”. Does anyone know what this infers?
Do we reapply? I was under the impression that our old application would be re-evaluated. But how would we send an updated resume in that case?
Sent an email asking if there was a way to update the resume and received this in response, "Please note that you cannot edit your application/resume once it has been submitted as it might be under review with our recruiting and hiring teams. And withdrawing a previously submitted application will not give you the option to submit another application in lieu of the withdrawn application. On updated CV/Resume you can flag it to the recruiter at the time of interview, if shortlisted." Looks like they are are only reviewing the old resumes which kind of sucks
I dont think you'd reapply; the hirevue in April is for both your preferences even if its a deferral.

What does deferred mean? Did you get rejected from early action or something else?
back in spring it said i wasn't selected for early action, but app will be reviewed in the fall. now it says "application under review" and it's been this way for a while so not sure if it's a glitch.

UPDATE: for some reason when I click applied today it worked, so I've just applied again using the same account that I got deferred from.
